My husband is in jail right now for a child he has not seen in eight and a half years and payed over five thousand dollers on. Now don't get me wronge he is behind in child support on this chid he was in jail for a year before so for that whole year the mother went then and put him in for child support and the judge granted her 380.00 a month so that whole year it just added up. Then when he got out he went to work and paid 5000.00 on the child and was never allowed to see the child. When Hurican Gustia hit he was working putting siding up on moble homes wel biss. went way down so he got behide again so the mother took him back to court and gave him a felney for it and now he is in jail for five years on a child he has not seen in eight and half years and payed over 5000.00 on he is only 5000.00 behide now mind you when he lost his job after the huricain they did not lower his child support or any thing they said he had to go to court and get a lawyer with what money. So now he is in jail and every month the child support adds up 380.00 every month, and he has been in there for almost a year. I just finally meet the child and she just found out she had a dad all this time she was told that someone elese was her father. So can someone please tell me where the justice in all this was. So when he gets out he will be even ferther behide that he is now. He has two children with me and now the goverment won't help me because I won't put him in for child support. What do they want to keep him in jail. But I can tell you pike county Miss is a very bad county to live in or have a child with someone in. We live in La. now and here I know thy have guys who are 38,000 behide in child support. I just don't get it. CAN ANYBODY HELP ME UNDERSTAND THIS INJUSTICE.

Go to a legal library in Mississippi & look up laws on purging yourself because it is unlawful to keep someone locked up if they cannot purge themselves. Good luck
