Wtf

by b
(Pro)

Ive been divorced from my ex for 10yrs , at the time of divorced I needed to know my legal action towards what I should do with the child, the whole time we were together I wanted a test to prove the child was mine because the time period and the many break ups we had , that lead to a out side guy which she was living with dating and being intimate with decide she wanted nothing to do with him, me being the dumb ass and madly in love with this girl took her back and supported her through the pregnancy, at the time of delivery the father was never there, and I figure this is my life now Ill take on the responsibilties so I signed the papers at birth as being the father, I felt pressured and didnt know anything besides I didnt leave the father part blank for the child.

So three yrs go by I raise the child and through out the three years she cheated on my a few times til she found the right one I guess. I was served papers for a divorce and when the legal documents came I talked to the attorney who was handling it and asked what legal rights and responsibilities do I have for the child, the attorneys response was I had none and the child was not mine and his name will be adopted my the man she was involved with, now ten years later I get a support order on July 12th, Im really in limbo right now and have no clue what to do?

If the baby isn't yours, the state should do a blood test. I know someone who claimed the baby knowing it wasn't his. she left him and went with the real dad. she expected him to pay child support, he went to court and said he waan't the father, the did the blood test, and he didn't have to pay child support. good luck...oh this was in new hampshire.

Dont know what state you are in

I dont know what state you are in but it probably want matter you are going to get screwed either way you go.I am sorry to tell you but the system is abusive to men and the lawyers are in most cases not helpful. That is not to say that all Lawyers cant help. But most will take your money and wont buck the system. If you are in Texas you are just screwed. But if in any other state do the research for a Lawyer and becareful. Men in Texas and around the county are being abused by the system. Good Luck buddy.
